A Sign

Initially the picture was supposed to be a draft for a sign to be put up at the Maloka. Then it turned into a process painting.

The intention behind building a Maloka was to create a space for bringing us to account, calling for justice individually and collectively, thus advancing the much needed change in our socio-economic system. My assumption is, that reality is essentially magical, what happens on earth, in our history is the result of magical practice. The people who shape our world know this and keep telling us at the same time that believing in supernatural powers other than in a kind of emasculated God, is a symptom of mental illness in order to prevent us from shaping our world contrary to their designs of power and exploitation. However, thankfully, many people are waking up to their power.

The painting process:

The angel dolphin was there from the start. He appeared like the manifestation of the expanded consciousness of future generations. He was like the channel for the children's voices.

The snake, being the animal form of Madre Ayahuasca was also there from the beginning.

The Shipibo patterns on the left border started the process. The bleeding earth, the woundedness of lifeforms created a river of blood, rising through the pyramid of collective consciousness.

The tail of the snake turned red, the red traveled through her body but then exited into the right hand border and formed a phoenix.

From the head of the phoenix the purified red energy re-entered the snake but stopped short of her head and her face turned white. She appeared like the white, virginal snake princess with a crown and a very sweet and soft voice, but unrivaled power to create and re-create life.

She called the red dragon and the dragon called the tiger that sprang from the void to defend the future for our children.

Two days later a real live snake visited the Maloka. She had a white crown behind her face and a white belly. Thank you, Madre, for the experience! Life is essentially magical.

Princess!
